Joe Kotas. Abstract Artistry

Joe Kotas is a self-taught artist who does abstract painting, photography and sculpture.  He is based in Chicago and is a co-founder of the school of "Pseudorealism." He deigns to entertain by creating visual condensation nucleii for the eye.  Oversize canvases up to fifteen feet long are filled with Kotas' unique application methods and style resulting in a menagerie of action, texture and magic which, as Marcel Duchamp would say, exists "outside of time and space."  His work is in collections in London, Leeds, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, New York City, Buffalo, Seattle, Miami, Riyadh and other places around the world.
